These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of silkhat.ai (the "Site"), operated by WBC Works LLC ("WBC Works," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Who we are

SilkHat is a product of WBC Works LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA.

2. Use of the Site

You may use the Site for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

  • use the Site in any way that violates applicable law;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems;
  • interfere with or disrupt the Site, or place an unreasonable load on it;
  • copy, scrape, or republish substantial portions of the Site's content without our permission.

3. Intellectual property

The content on the Site — including text, guides, graphics, logos, and the SilkHat name and branding — is owned by WBC Works LLC or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. You may share links to our content and quote brief excerpts with attribution. You may not otherwise reproduce or distribute it without our written permission.

4. Informational purpose only

The guides and other content on the Site are provided for general informational purposes. They are not professional, financial, legal, or other specialized advice, and they may not fit your particular situation. You are responsible for your own decisions and purchases.

5. Affiliate links and third-party sites

Some pages on the Site contain affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. See our Affiliate Disclosure. The SilkHat assistant may be offered in a limited early-access form. Early-access features are provided "as is," may change or be discontinued, and are not guaranteed to be available to everyone.

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that its content is accurate or complete.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WBC Works LLC and its members, officers, and employees will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of or related to your use of the Site. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

9. Changes to the Site and these Terms

We may modify or discontinue the Site, or update these Terms, at any time. When we update these Terms, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute relating to these Terms or the Site will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Pennsylvania.
